VISITOR REGULATIONS
AND TERMS OF ADMISSION TICKET SALE
ASSOCIATION OF ART HISTORIANS
MUSEUM – CASTLE COMPLEX IN NIEDZICA
The visitor regulations and terms of admission ticket sale for the Museum – Castle Complex in Niedzica (referred to as "REGULATIONS") define the rules of visiting the Museum and purchasing museum admission tickets.
The organiser of the Museum – Castle Complex in Niedzica with its registered office at: Niedzica – Zamek, ul. Zamkowa 2, 34-441 Niedzica ( referred to as the "Museum") is:
Main Management Board of Stowarzyszenie Historyków Sztuki (Association of Art Historians) with its registered office in Warszawa, 00-272 Warszawa, Rynek Starego Miasta 27, an organisation with legal personality, entered into the National Court Register under KRS number 0000154779, with NIP (tax identification number) 5260250914, REGON (statistical number) 000791361.
VISITOR REGULATIONS
1. The museum expositions are open:
permanent exhibition – Castle and Coach House
(from 1 May to 30 September – open every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
from 1 October to 30 April – open every day excluding Mondays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
permanent exhibition – Granary
(from 1 May to 30 September – open every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
from 1 October to 30 April – closed)
2. The Museum reserves the right to close exhibitions for the periods indicated in the orders issued by the Museum Director.
3. The approximate time of visiting the museum exhibitions is:
Castle and Coach House exhibition – around 1 hour 15 minutes
Granary exhibition – around 20 minutes
Too little time allowed for the visit before the closing of the Museum does not
constitute a basis for the complaint on grounds of limiting the accessibility of
some exhibitions.
4. The exhibition in the Castle is visited in groups with a museum guide
5. (a group may consist of a maximum of 55 people).
The guide service is included in the admission fee.
6. The exhibition in the Coach House and Granary may be visited individually or in organised groups.
RULES OF CONDUCT IN MUSEUM
1. Visitors of the Museum are obliged to comply with the provisions of these Regulations and instructions of the museum employees.
2. The premises of the Museum and exhibitions are under video surveillance.
3. For conservation reasons some limitations can be imposed on the number of people that can be admitted to a given exhibition.
4. The following prohibitions apply to all the exhibitions:
- it is prohibited to bring firearms,
- it is prohibited to bring dangerous and sharp objects,
- it is prohibited to bring big objects,
- it is prohibited to bring animals (with the exception of guide dogs – after producing a document certifying the status of the dog),
- it is prohibited to smoke tobacco products or vape,
- it is prohibited to eat or drink in the Museum except in the places set aside for these purposes,
- people under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other psychotropic substances causing similar effects will not be admitted to the Museum,
- people behaving aggressively, disturbing the order of the visit or behaving contrary to the generally accepted rules of conduct in public places will not be admitted to the Museum,
- it is prohibited to touch exhibits or decor elements,
- it is prohibited to climb platforms, securing and reinforcing elements, lean over barriers and other securing constructions, sit on walls, push others, slide on the floor, behave noisily and create dangerous situations.
5. Photographing and recording at the exhibition is allowed only without the use of flash. The photographic materials from the premises may be used only for non-commercial purposes. Any commercial photo sessions (couple's sessions, etc.) on the premises of the Museum are prohibited.
6. Children and young people under the age of 18 may visit the museum expositions under a constant supervision of an adult (a teacher, a parent).
7. Guided tours are given exclusively by the guides of our Museum.
8. Due to the historical nature of the complex and architectural impediments (narrow and low passageways, different heights of stone steps and uneven surfaces) visitors have to exercise caution.
9. Because of the above-mentioned conditions the museum exhibitions may not be visited by persons in wheelchairs and with mobility impairments.
10. In case of unusual occurrences posing an immediate threat to the health or life of the visitors, the visitors have to leave the museum exhibitions immediately following the instructions of the museum employees.
TERMS OF ADMISSION TICKET SALE
GENERAL RULES
1. In order to visit the exhibitions in the Museum visitors have to pay a fee.
2. You can purchase admission tickets at the museum ticket office or online at the website www.zamekniedzica.pl.
3. The museum ticket office accepts payments in PLN and debit cards.
4. The ticket fees are stipulated in the price list available at the museum ticket office and at the website. The indicated prices are gross prices (they include VAT) denominated in PLN.
5. The visitor may enter the museum exhibition on the date specified on the ticket.
6. The purchased ticket will be electronically verified by an employee of the Museum.
7. Discounted tickets not supported by any evidence of the right entitling the visitor to a given discount and damaged tickets that cannot be identified by the scanning devices are invalid and cannot be returned.
RULES OF TICKET ONLINE SALE
1. The museum admission tickets may be bought at the website in the tab
"buy ticket" exclusively after accepting the Regulations.
2. The online sale of the museum admission tickets applies to organised groups as well as individual visitors.
3. Transactions made by means of a credit card or a bank transfer are managed by the payment operator PayU, ul.Grunwaldzka 182, 60-166 Poznań.
4. In order to receive a VAT invoice, you have to tick the option "Yes, I want to receive a VAT invoice" in the booking system and submit all the information necessary to issue an invoice, i.e. a full name of the institution, address and your tax identification number. After payment such an invoice will be send to you electronically.
5. Tickets purchased online may be printed out or presented in the Museum in the electronic form.
6. Payment for the tickets purchased online must be effected in accordance with the electronic payment forms available. Failure to complete the payment transaction within one hour from the ticket reservation will automatically cancel the ticket.
7. Tickets may be purchased online two hours before the visit at the latest. After that time tickets may be bought only at the ticket office of the Museum.
8. The Museum is not liable for any interruptions of data transmission during the ticket purchase transaction.
9. The system of online sale is a free service.
10. A Buyer making payment by a foreign bank should take into account any bank agency fees that can be calculated. Only a full payment in a given period guarantees that the order will be processed by the Museum.
11. Under the Regulation of the Minister of Finances of 28 December 2018 on the exemptions from the obligation to keep records by means of cash registers (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 2519) the sale of tickets within the scope of online orders and payments is not subject to the obligation to use a cash register. As a result visitor will not receive a cash register receipt.
RETURNS
1. The museum admission tickets purchased online may not be returned or exchanged (except as provided in item 2 below). According to the content of Article 38 (12) of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 683, as amended), the right to rescind a distance contract may not be exercised by a consumer of services if such a contract stipulates the date or period of providing such a service.
2. In exceptional circumstances, when a visit may not take place due to the reasons attributable to the Museum, a person who purchased a ticket may return the ticket and demand a refund on the ticket bought.
- refunds for tickets purchased in the ticket office of the Museum are made at the ticket office of the Museum
- if a ticket was bought by a card, the refund will be made to the card used to purchase that ticket
- refunds for tickets purchased online will be made directly to the account from which
payment for the returned ticket was made.
In the above-mentioned cases the refund will be made on the condition that the Buyer is in the possession of the purchased and unused ticket and documents proving the completion of a purchase transaction.
COMPLAINTS
1. Any questions, remarks or complaints concerning the purchase of tickets should be send electronically to the following address of the Museum: shsniedzica@wp.pl
A complaint should contain the following information:
- number of order subject to the complaint
- grounds of the complaint and description of the situation it concerns
- first and last name
- email address:
- phone number
2. Complaints must be made not later than within 14 days of the event subject to the complaint.
3. Complaints will be processed by the Museum on a one-off basis within 14 days of the date of receiving a complaint, except where the reason of such a complaint is attributable to the payment operator PayU and must be processed by PayU (in such case the period of processing such complaint may be extended). The Buyer will be notified about the decision by means of a return email message.
4. The Museum is not liable for improperly submitted complaints, in particular where incorrect or false data of the Buyer were given.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
1. The administrator of personal data is the Association of Art Historians
Museum – Castle Complex in Niedzica with its registered office in Niedzica, 34-441 Niedzica, ul. Zamkowa 2; email: shsniedzica@wp.pl .
2. Providing personal data is necessary to perform the agreement connected with
the purchase of a ticket.
3. Personal data are processed only in order to perform an order, contact the Buyer, if necessary, and perform all the actions necessary for the functioning of the ticket sale system.
4. Personal data will be processed on the basis of and according to Article 6 (1) (a) and (b) of the Regulation of of the European Parliament and (EU) Council 2016/679 of 27 April 2016.
5. The Administrator orders third parties to process data exclusively in order to perform the service, i.e. entities enabling electronic payments.
6. Personal data are kept until the end of the limitation period and until all the obligations arising out of the applicable provisions of the law, including tax and accounting regulations, are carried out.
7. The person providing personal data has the right to access the content of such data, to rectify data, to remove data, to restrict processing.
8. The Buyer has the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if he or she thinks that the processing of her/his data is not compliant with the applicable provisions.
